Social Impact Measurement

AKRO collaborates with United Way of Southern Nevada, Data Insight Partners, Cazenovia West, and Applied Analysis to design and develop systems that support effective, efficient, and timely impact reporting. Community Connect tracks population-level indicators by county, city, and zip code. Other projects use chatbots and automated dashboards to help a community understand the large-scale impact of United Way.

We provide a variety of services including ecosystem mapping, stakeholder analysis, open data analytics, interactive dashboard development, and the use of human-centered design for outreach and engagement.

Measuring Impact Over Time

In 2016-2017, United Way of Southern Nevada developed Community Connect to track large-scale community change over time. The system automatically updates census data each year at the county, city, and zip code level. Community members can also share their stories of change and review organizational reports and publications.
